- Your student’s teacher will provide the time of day for each picture event once the schedule is known.  
- Order forms will be sent home on Monday
- New students who missed our Fall picture dates, will have their individual pictures taken for our yearbook on March 10th.

CHILD CARE AVAILABLE FOR MARCH 20th
The 8th grade class is offering child care for school-aged children on the Professional Day for teachers, March 20. The cost is $20/half-day (4 hours) or $35/full-day (8 hours). There is a 10% discount for every additional sibling. Only students with reservations are guaranteed a spot. Students should bring a healthy lunch and healthy snack. They may bring games, stuffed animals and a water bottle. Child care will take place in the cafeteria and will include: arts & crafts, games, Lego building, short film clips, and recess. Students will be guided by eighth grade students with parents/staff supervision. We need at least 5 children registered to offer the program. Link for sign up: https://goo.gl/forms/MqoqEGK3GenqToOE2

The SCS Board has approved our calendar for next year.  It is now posted on our website and can be accessed from the link below.  Please make sure you mark your schedules for our start.  Details regarding specific added over the summer.

Special Education Survey
Let the Florida Department of Education know about how Sigsbee Charter School partners with you, the parent, to promote parent involvement in your child's education.  A paper survey will come home with your child on Monday.  If you prefer to complete the survey electronically, go to esesurvey.com or click on the link provided at KeysSchools.com.  Please take the time to complete this brief survey to help us at Sigsbee Charter School continue to meet your family's needs.
Sigsbee's Spectacular Talent Show

When: Friday, May 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Commitment and Rehearsals: Participants will be expected to come to 2 rehearsals (to be announced) and 1 final Dress Rehearsal before the show.

NEW FACES AT SIGSBEE CHARTER SCHOOL 
Mrs. Rivero-Abreu will be joining us as a support teacher in Mrs. Peterson's Kindergarten class while Mrs. Peterson is out on maternity.  Mrs. Wiese, already a member of the team, will be leading the class during this time.
Mrs. Haughey will be rejoining the Sigsbee team to teach 5th grade math while Mrs. Dary is out on maternity leave.  Mrs. Haughey knows many of the children from last year, when she was the fourth grade math teacher.

Ms. Mays will be joining the first grade lobster classroom as a student teacher as she finishes up her teaching credential.
