FSA WRITING TEST- Grades 4-6
FSA Reading Test- Grade 3
Band Rehearsal 3:00-4:00 PM
Lunch: Kennedy Cafe- soft tacos, Cheez-Its, GoGurt

Wednesday, April 3

FSA Reading Test- Grade 3
Lunch: Kennedy Cafe- grilled cheese, Sun Chips, fruit

Thursday, April 4

FSA Writing Test- Grades 7-8
Kindergarten Field Trip: Trumbo Point
Band Rehearsal 3:00-4:00 PM
Book Club 3:15-4:00 PM
Lunch: China Garden- sweet-n-sour chicken, white rice, fortune cookie, fruit

Friday, April 5

Movie Night!
Lunch: Pizza Hut- pizza, celery w/ranch, fruit

CELEBRATING THE MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD

April is Month of the Military Child, a time to celebrate our military and veteran-connected children and their families for their service and sacrifice.   Throughout this month, our Sigsbee military-dependent children will be celebrated in a number of ways.  See our schedule below for how you can participate:

Monday, April 1st:  Kickoff 

  • Videos celebrating the military child shown in class

Friday, April 5th:  

  • Student Art Projects displayed in cafeteria, 
  • World map of where students have lived on display
  • Purple Up bracelets disseminated

Friday, April 12th : PURPLE UP DAY

  • Wear Purple
  • Grades K-3 Guest Readers (active duty members, Board members, administration) 8:15-10:00 AM
  • Grades 4-8 Career Day/First Responder Day 1:30-3:00 PM
  • Coffee Clatch: Tips for supporting your military dependent child
Friday, April 19th
  • Schoolwide Pledge with Color Guard to start the day
  • Grades 4-6 Flag etiquette and flag folding workshop with JROTC

Friday, April 26th
  • Military Child Celebration Ceremony (Schedule TBD)
  • Popcorn for All!



Third quarter report cards for students in grades 5-8 are available for review in FOCUS

Parents of students in K-4 should have had their spring conferences with the teachers at this point.

  • When - as soon as you know you’re leaving (minimum of 2 weeks - 4 is better)
