STAFF APPRECIATION

This is definitely an important year to show our appreciation for the hardworking staff of Sigsbee Charter School who have persevered through Home Learning with flying colors!  Since we cannot show our appreciation in person, we've organized some special events that require everyone's participation.

Monday- Start your video clip for our student-made Staff Appreciation Video.  Watch the video below for instructions from Mrs. Alayon, PTO President.  Email your clip to: bberman04kw@icloud.com

Tuesday- STAFF APPRECIATION DAY! - Start the day with a surprise from Mrs. Jannes.  The big reveal will happen during Morning Meeting so, don't miss it.  Next up, start your appreciation week project (ideas below)

Thursday-  Send your video clips to Mrs. Alayon

This week is "Dress Like Your Teacher" Day in honor of Staff Appreciation.  You may choose any staff member to resemble.  Contest winners (3 winners in all) will be for the best match to the real thing.  Be sure to label your picture with your FULL name, grade and the teacher you are portraying.  Be respectful with your choices!

SUPPORTING YOUR CHILD'S EMOTIONAL HEALTH

Did you know that our counselors and our Military Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) are available for Telehealth conferences with students and parents?  Check out our counseling page for contact information and read an article about how MFLCs helped her child through the home learning period.

WITHDRAWALS
Please use the link above to let us know that your student will not be returning to us next year.  This will allow us to prepare all transfer documents and assemble your child's materials.  If your child left personal items at the school that need to be picked up before our year-end exchange (June 3-5), please email Lynn.Roberts@sigsbee.org to arrange an appointment.  All borrowed technology, library books, guided reading books and other school materials must be returned before the withdrawal can be completed.

YEAR-END CHECKOUT  MATERIALS EXCHANGE
Please save the date so you are ready for our hyper-organized and efficient Materials Exchange in June.  More detailed information will be sent out as we move closer.  ALL electronic devices, chargers, library books, classroom books, guided reading books and other school materials will be checked back in at this time.

Students will be able to pick up any personal belongings left at school, perfect attendance certificates, honor roll certificates and graduation certificates at this time.  Fifth and Eighth grade have a special time set aside to honor their moving up.
