PASCAL WEISBERGER  MEMORIAL SERVICE DAY
Last week, the SeaDragons at Treasure Village Montessori Charter School, in Islamorada, tragically lost one of their beloved students.  In honor of his memory and his love for his community, the school has dedicated this Wednesday, May 13th, as the first Pascal Weisberger Day of Service.

Please join in celebrating Pascal's life by encouraging your Sigsbee Sailfish to commit to an act of kindness and/or community service on Wednesday, after your live lessons.  Pascal especially loved animals and volunteered often at the animal shelter so consider doing something kind for a furbaby.  

 Take a photo of your child helping in the community and email it to Mrs. Jannes (eli.jannes@sigsbee.org) by Thursday afternoon.  I'll assemble our efforts into something that we can send the TVM school family.  This week is also National School Charter School Week.  It is a fitting time for us to unite in honor of such a loving charter school student .

SIGSBEE SCOOP Respect, Responsibility, Resilience January 16- January 22, 2017 WEEK AT A GLANCE: Monday January 16: Holiday: No School Tuesday, January 17: Ecology Club (3:15-4:15 PM) Wednesday, January 18: Enrichment- Early Out Thursday, January 19: SCS Board Meeting (4:00- 5:00 PM) Friday, January 20: Sunday, January 22: 8th grade car wash at VFW (10:00 AM -3:00 PM) A MEMORABLE EVENT AT SIGSBEE CHARTER SCHOOL Because of our transient student body and community, teachers at Sigsbee do not typically get to celebrate their students' elementary careers like most schools.  Many students move away within three years of arriving at Sigsbee.
