Lunch- counts will be taken in each homeroom to help improve accuracy.  Please be sure your child is in school on time.  We have not been given the lunch menu for this week.  We apologize for any inconvenience and will text the menu as soon as it arrives.

Take Home Meals- access this survey if you would like your child to bring home food for other children in your household, on the weekends, or if you are virtual and want to pick up food.

After-School Help Program

A selection of students from grades 3-8 will receive an invitation to participate in our after-school academic help program.  This program is designed to offer additional reteaching and intervention to students who have demonstrated a need for support by performing below grade level expectations in English Language Arts and/or Mathematics in the first semester.    It is our hope that students will close their learning gaps by having opportunities for receive additional help from their teachers.  The program is by invitation only in order to best serve the students identified.  Students must be willing to participate fully in the lessons and parents must be able to pick up their child at 2:50 PM.  A participation form will be sent out to parents of the identified group through email this weekend.  Students may not begin participating in the sessions until the form is completed.  The program will start on Monday, January 25th for English Language Arts Support and Tuesday, January 26th for Mathematics support.

LIBRARY

We are tidying up the library and catching up on overdue notices and missing books.  Notices were sent home with students this weekend.  Please look through your homes for any overdue library books and return them as soon as possible in order to avoid charges.

If your child is matriculating virtually, you can bring the books to school and leave them on the table between the library and front office.  We have a number of eager readers and are hoping to expand our collection back to its original state.
