Lunch: Ham and cheese sandwich, bag o' chips, cumber slices with ranch, fruit, juice and milk
Thursday, September 9
Breakfast: Granola bar with graham crackers, fruit, juice and milk
Lunch: Corn dog, honey roasted chickpeas chips, fruit, juice and milk
Friday, September 10
Kindergarten GREEN Day
Breakfast: Banana bread, fruit, juice and milk
Lunch: Pizza, potato smiles, fruit, juice and milk

VOLUNTEER HOURS
Most families have already completed 3-4 of their family's 10 required volunteer hours by attending/participating in the following events:
- Completing registration paperwork (1 hour)
- Attending Meet the Teacher (1 hour)
- Attending Back to School Night (1 hour)
- New Family Orientation (1 hour)- new families only
At the end of this month, families with students in kindergarten-third grade will be asked to sign up for a Zoom-parent-teacher-conference. Attending your child's conference will award you another hour. Students in fourth-eighth grades receive quarterly report cards; so, parent-teacher conferences are not necessary. However, if you would like to have a meeting about your child, all you have to do is send an email to your child's homeroom teacher and your request will be accommodated.
The number of completed volunteer hours will be posted in Focus at the end of each quarter. To view your hours, click on Child Info then Volunteer Service Hours. Add the hours together for your children. Once your family reaches 10 total hours, you have fulfilled that part of your Contract of Commitment and we will stop tracking.

The concentration on the arts, physical education and language enrich the student experience at Sigsbee Charter School. LOOKING FOR BUS DRIVERS FOR SCHOOL TRIPS
We have many amazing experiences planned for your students but are in desperate need of help with transportation.
Sigsbee is currently looking for bus drivers to assist with field trip transportation. Interested individuals will receive volunteer hours and even compensation for their travel time. Bus drivers must have or be willing to get their CDL license and a few additional steps with the Monroe County School District. Volunteer bus drivers will open up more opportunities for students to participate in field trips throughout the Florida Keys and the mainland. Click here for more information about this process.
