Veterans' Day Speakers
We are still looking for veterans to speak to the students about their service.  Please contact Mrs. Jannes if you are available between 8:45 AM and 9:45 AM.

Monday, November 7th:  Girl Scouts 3:30-5:30 (cafeteria)
Tuesday, November 8th:  Election Day- Go vote! (and take your child to experience the process)
                                            PTO Meeting 8:30 AM (cafeteria)
                                            Ecology Club 3:15-4:15 PM (science lab)
Wednesday, November 9th: 8th grade Parent Meeting 6:00 PM (library)
Thursday, November 10th: Veterans' Day Presentation to Classes
Friday, November 11th:  NO SCHOOL- VETERANS' DAY
                                           Veterans' Day Parade- come support our SCS troop
                                           Veterans' Day Bake Sale- Fausto's on Fleming- support our 8th graders
Saturday, November 12th: Veterans' Day Bake Sale- Fausto's on Fleming- support our 8th graders


FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT: November 16th 5:30-8:00 PM
Bring your family to our first Family Movie Night of the year.  We will be watching FINDING DORY!  Bring your blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, bean bag chairs or lawn chairs.  Dinner is available from 6:00-6:30 PM.  Parents must stay with the children and all participants need to be ready to watch the movie (i.e. no running around or talking once the movie starts)
Admission: $1.00 per person (proceeds go to the graduating class)

MENU AVAILABLE (no external food allowed)
Pizza by the slice $1.50 per slice
Water $1.00/bottle
Full pizza (cheese or pepperoni)- $10.00 each (order ahead)
Plate of caesar salad: $3.00 each
Baked goods $1.00 each
Popcorn: $1.00/bag

CHILD CARE FOR NOVEMBER 28th PROFESSIONAL DAY
The last child care experience was so successful that the 8th grade class is hosting another one on November 28th, a professional day.  Please sign up using the google form.  Once we have 10 students, we will confirm your registration.  Thank you for supporting us!
