BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT FOR PARENTS WEDNESDAY
We are looking forward to welcoming our parents into the classrooms on Wednesday evening. Back to School Night is intended for parents to listen to teacher presentations about expectations, routines and highlights of the year. The information will guide you through the year. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for you to ask questions to your child's teachers. Please remember that individual parent conferences occur at the end of October. It is not appropriate to use this event to discuss individual children.
Students do not need to attend this event. It is intended for parents and teachers only. If you are unable to find child care at home, you may bring your school-aged children for evening care in the portables. Toddlers may stay with parents as long as they can stay quiet during the presentations. Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up children from the child care as our teachers need a good night's sleep before returning in the morning.
The schedule detailed below is designed to accommodate families with more than one child. Teachers repeat the presentation two times during the evening so that you can attend either presentation or go to another classroom if you need to see more than one teacher. Middle school teachers will be grouped by grade level and available to answer any of your questions throughout the 5:00-6:15 PM time frame. Be on the lookout for their presentation; they will send it out in advance of the meeting.
Attending Back To School Night will grant you service hours too! If you are unable to attend, presentations will be posted on class websites.
