OPERATION CITADEL SHIELD
Navy installations within the continental United States (CONUS) will conduct Exercise Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain for the next two weeks. This is an exercise designed for anti-terrorism force protection. This exercise is a regularly-scheduled exercise and is not in response to any specific threat.
Measures have been taken to minimize disruptions within local communities and base operations but there may be times when the exercise causes increased base traffic or delays in base access. Area residents may also see or hear security activities associated with the exercise. Advanced coordination has taken place with local law enforcement and first responders to minimize any inconveniences.

Let the 8th grade students and parents supervise games, coloring, and a movie with popcorn while you relax. If you are interested, please complete the form below by February 9th so that we know who to expect. Children should be school-aged, should pack a light dinner to eat at the event, and bring a blanket/pillow for the movie. If you have any questions, please contact lisa.bendall@sigsbee.org.
