DISTRICT STEM FAIR ACCOLADES FOR SIGSBEE
Sigsbee Scientists worked hard to compete against their peers across the county in the regional STEM Fair last weekend.  The annual STEM Fair allows students to dive into the work of scientists in a number of areas.  This year, our students made a significant showing by winning several awards and two of our students are headed to the State Competition in Lakeland, Florida.  Way to go Sailfish!

Navigating Through the Hurricane of Adolescence
Join us to learn some tools for helping to communicate with your adolescent during their Tween years.  Hear about how students are feeling about their relationships.  Our Military Family Life Counselors will use their expertise and work with our students to help parents discover effective tools for parenting through this developmental stage.  Learning objectives include:

  • Benefits of Effective Communication
  • Developmental Issues
  • Helping Kids Deal With Feelings
  • Basic Principles of Effective Parent/Child
  • Communication
  • Communicating During Conflict

Calling all dancers, singers, contortionists, pianists, jugglers, acrobats, martial artists, thespians, and ANYONE with an amazing talent to share! We know you’ve got talent and can’t wait to see you shine at Sigsbee’s annual talent show!

WHEN:  Friday, April 26th 
WHERE:  Sigsbee Cafeteria

COMMITMENT AND REHEARSALS:  Participants will be required to attend TWO rehearsals (the first: March 26 or 28; the second: April 9 or 11) and ONE final dress rehearsal on April 23rd.

PARENTS:  We need a completed participation form for EACH CHILD PARTICIPATING! Even if they are performing with another student, we must receive a form for each individual child.

Please note that an adult must always be with and supervise each student-performer for all rehearsals.
