COFFEE CLATCH FOR PARENTS
When Sophie Thinks She Can”t
May 22nd 8:00-9:15 AM

People with a growth mindset believe that success can result from effort and effective strategies.  When children are taught that we all have malleable intelligence and can "grow our brains” by forming new neural pathways, they become willing to struggle and persist with challenging tasks.  Children who are taught ways to develop growth mindset are more engaged and persistent in responding to challenges. Summertime reading and writing with the right mindset can be a great experience. May 22 Coffee Clatch will be focused on the language parents can use to grow and develop growth mindset.
