THANKSGIVING BASKETS
Supporting students in need
Each year, SCS supports students at the high school who are in dire financial need but still working toward their diplomas. These students rely on school being open to provide them with two meals per day. We want to be sure they have food over break and for the holiday, when school is closed.
We are gathering non-perishable food donations to create Thanksgiving baskets for these students, providing them with sustenance while students are on break. Please sign up to bring in items by clicking on your child's homeroom teacher's name below. Families are welcome to donate any amount of non-perishable items. These donations do not count toward volunteer hours- they are meant to support children in the community.
The deadline for donating is Wednesday so that we can deliver the boxes to the families. Thank you for supporting our local youth.
