CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION
Below are some precautions you can follow to keep your child healthy.  They are applicable for all viruses.

1.  Ensure your child is practicing good hand washing routines- at least 20 seconds with soapy water, frequently throughout the day.

2.  Make sure your child is covering his/her cough/sneeze- with a tissue or sleeve.  If a hand is used, wash it immediately after.

3.  Clean surfaces frequently.

4.  Feeling sick- stay home and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen.

5.  Personal space- maintain personal space (6 ft) from people unknown to you.

6.  Flu vaccine- the health department is strongly recommending that everyone get a flu vaccine.

7.  Stay informed by using reliable resources- listed below.

The school district is closely monitoring developments with the Coronavirus and adjusting protocols accordingly.  Families who are traveling out of state over spring break are encouraged to monitor the situation in their travel locations by using reliable resources.  Families traveling internationally are asked to self-quarantine for 2 weeks before returning to school.  These countries currently include: China, Iran, South Korea and Italy.  There are currently no travel limitation within Florida.
