Kindergarten YELLOW Day- Wear yellow!
Breakfast: Banana bread, fruit, juice and milk
Lunch: Pizza, potato smiles, fruit, juice and milk

Back to School Night

Back to School Night is an opportunity for parents to meet with your child's teacher and listen to a formal presentation that covers important information for the year.  Students need not attend the event.  Because many families have multiple children, there are two sessions to choose from: 6:00-6:30 PM and 6:45-7:15 PM.  If you only have one child at SCS, you need only attend one session.  Attendance at this event fulfills one service hour.  

All presentations will take place via Zoom this year.  It is important that you sign into Zoom using your child's Sigsbee account.  The meeting link will be posted in SeeSaw (K-2) and Google Classroom (3-8).   Once you click on the link, you will enter the Waiting Room area.  You will be entered into the meeting when the teacher is ready to begin.

Our specialists (Art, Library, Music, PE, Spanish) will pre-record a video for you to watch at another time.

A message from art


Ms. Franke would like all elementary students (grades k-5) to bring in a paint/art shirt they can store in their cubbies.  The shirts will be worn to cover clothing when the class is painting or doing something messy.  Please make sure it is large enough to comfortably cover your child.  Painting starts this week!


Welcome Officer Nick

Please help us welcome our new School Resource Officer, Nick Dantu, to our Sigsbee family.  Officer Nick is working hard to keep our campus safe and making connections with all the students.

Originally born and raised in South Africa, Officer Nick arrived in the USA in 2001.  He's lived in Rhode Island and Key West and loves to kiteboard, paddleboard and participate in outrigger canoeing.

Officer Nick has been with the Key West Police force for four years, working nights.  We promise to keep his days exciting and busy!
