JOIN OUR SIGSBEE FAMILY

The SCS Board of Directors recently approved a $1000/month living allowance for all full-time employees to ensure that SCS is able to provide a living wage for our amazing staff.   We recognize the importance of having qualified professionals in charge of caring for our children.  Please help us recruit -this is the most difficult job market we've ever dealt with.  Postings are updated on our website

Informational Vaping Panel
Yesterday, our fifth-eighth-grade students participated in a panel dedicated to teaching them about the dangers of vaping.    Panel members answered many questions and clarified misconceptions on this topic.  We hope that through education, students will make better choices about protecting their bodies and their futures.  Feel free to reach out to our nurse Chanda Wall (chanda.wall@sigsbee.org) for assistance if you feel that you need additional support for your child.

Many thanks to Officer Nic (Sigsbee SRO), Amy Dees (Supervisor of the Respiratory Therapy Department, LKMC), and Dana Portillo (MCSD School Health Coordinator) for serving as our panelists.  Thank you to parents Elisa Levy and Jamie Strunk for coordinating the event.

Parents will receive a copy of two brochures via email with more information on this topic.
